In this chapter we introduce the concept of integration. We will not touch upon the subtle concept of integrability. We simply interpret definite integrals as "signed area". We discuss the content of the fundamental theorem of Calculus which relates the process of finding definite integrals and finding anti-derivatives which is the "inverse process" of finding derivatives.
