# Requirements of Math Option in Math Major

#### Notice

The university requires all undergraduate students to complete
40 units in upper division courses. Completing the math major and
upper division GE is not enough. It is *the student's*
responsibility, not the math department's responsibility, to make
sure this requirement is met.

### Mathematics Option (59 units)

Single Field Major - No minor is required.

A grade of C or better is required in every course used in the
major.
